Analysis
Gain control of your industrial water and cutting fluid with chemical and biological analyses. We offer both on-site sampling and laboratory analysis of submitted samples – as well as equipment for self-monitoring. With the right analysis method, you get quick results and can take immediate action.
Fluid analysis
- Liquid analysis – Dipslide for levels of microorganisms; bacteria & fungi, concentration (BRIX) and pH, as well as tests for implementation and sizing of UV solutions.
- Microbiological analysis – Dipslide and ATP analysis to determine the quantity and type of microorganisms; bacteria & fungi, as well as concentration (BRIX) and pH.
- Species identification – A qPCR analysis identifies existing microorganisms, such as Legionella, to enable the most effective action.
- System investigation –Sampling and analysis of the source of the problem and its extent, along with recommendations for corrective measures.
Analysis methods for microorganisms
- pH indicator strips – The strips provide an instant indication of the pH level in the fluid, giving an initial picture of potential problems with microorganisms in process fluids. They are easy to use and read.
- Dipslides – With dipslides, you get an overview of the microorganism situation within 48–72 hours; bacteria and fungi (CFU/ml). It is easy to take samples yourself – see here how to use dipslides correctly.
- ATP – Second-generation ATP analysis provides, within a few minutes and with high accuracy, the quantity of microorganisms in the fluid (pg ATP/ml). ATP testing detects what dipslides struggle with, such as anaerobic and mycobacteria, as well as slow-growing bacteria and fungi.
- qPCR – The fluid’s DNA is analysed using the qPCR method to identify the current microorganism flora (species/%).
Equipment
We offer analysis equipment from LUMINULTRA that is time- and cost-efficient, including ATP and qPCR analysis, which can be used both on-site and in laboratories.
